The past year has seen a number of humanitarian crises around the world and McKinsey’s Olivia White explained to a Sibos audience that the number of people affected is now about three times bigger today than it was just 10 years ago. This highlights the need for concentrated efforts in delivering humanitarian aid to those in need as fast as possible, from a payments perspective, she notes.
